🔗 Share this article The Animated Series' Creator Has Seen Fans' Season 2 Predictions — And She Has Good News The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel arrives on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been intense. Season 1 presents a diverse group of personalities living within the afterlife, pits them against each other with songs about their clashes, and establishes tense rivalries and emotional bonds that drive audience devotion. The fandom's stated hopes for the new season vary widely, but certain threads recur frequently: Could Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve? "Obviously, I don't make the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the showrunner stated earlier this year. "However I believe that me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!" She says her long-term vision is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which finance the series. That could imply viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast the new season moves, and how many of what they're waiting for happens this season. "I believe people are going to be highly satisfied," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we get some incredible reveals, some really cool origin tales, and even just simple things, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members." The creator is well-informed of the guesses and hopes about the upcoming season — particularly in the format of fan bingo cards. "I've seen a few fans create a bingo card about the new season," she mentions. "Obviously I can't post it, but I've actually done some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy." Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
